I care about design because things are hard sometimes.

I strive to understand people, culture, and communities better and I love the challenges that come along with it. There is a lot of talk of empathy in the design space, but I think that before even empathy comes in, you need to show an interest in understanding people, their struggles, and you have to care enough to think about them.

I care about design because things aren't always easy - but it's important to never give up.
